The queen room with a double bed was comfortable and the facilities worked well for us. The room had a good variety of supplies including central heating, multi-channel television, and a study table.

The rooms were cool, clean, comfortable and quiet. There was secure parking behind the Hostel in a courtyard. Staff were friendly and eager to help, whlie speaking little english this did not prove a barrier to communication. Breakfast was good. Free wi fi was available. Located close to the main square.

This was a fantastic place to stay! The rooms were huge, beautiful and the staff a charming bunch. I have stayed in the fanciest places in Trujillo and this was the best by far!

Everything was simply excellent. We both enjoyed it. - the place is good value and suited fine. - the location was incredible, near the Plaza Mayor, which is nice to walk around. - It's just minutes away from Palacio de Orellanas-Pizarro that we wanted to see. The hostel was excellent, we had a great time there. It was worth the price, and the location was amazing, right by Plaza Mayor, making it convenient for walks. it was only a short distance from Palacio de Orellanas-Pizarro, a place we were eager to visit.

Units with a double bed. All in all particularly good location, so close to quirky nature, Plaza Mayor, and the centre of town.

Convenient location near the city center, just a stone's throw away from a charming church and a historic castle 🏰. Enjoyed a breakfast that included fresh fruits.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hostel (we actually feel it was more of a hotel). Although the receptionist did not speak very much English, she was extremely helpful. The room was very spacious, basic furnishings but perfectly serviceable - we just booked one overnight stay as we were driving through France and Spain to get to southern Spain.
The only criticism, which is not really of the hotel itself, is that it is quite difficult to find. The town is a very typical Spanish town, which narrow cobbled streets and squares - would have loved to have had longer to explore. However, this made finding the hostel difficult. The local people were however very helpful and friendly, approaching us and offering to help - we didn't have to approach them for help. In the end, an elderly gentleman (with no English) came with us in our car to show us where to find the hostel.

The hotel offers excellent value and is located in a peaceful area close to Plaza Mayor. the building is interesting and quirky, and my room was spacious and clean with an AC unit.

on the budget end of luxury i.e. a simple hotel with a wonderful interior. Our room wasn't luxury standard but had a lot of the right features, including a vaulted ceiling, great bathroom and plenty of space. The building interior was impressive (and old) while the exterior was plain (don't be put off). Tujillo did not disappoint ... a fascinating place for its history and buildings/gardens ... small enough to get around ... while a big enough town to provide options.

Nice location; few minutes walk to lovely historic town centre and (different direction) to shopping centre.
Parking charge unnecessary - plenty of free parking nearby and even in front of hotel.

Convenient location to explore the town. Good to have air conditioning in a budget hotel.
We had to park in the main square of the hotel due to entrance width of Hotel own car park was too narrow.

The nice owners (and staff) of this wonderful hostal do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast buffet is very good and coffee is unlimited (as well as cakes, toast, etc) ;-). Spaceous, quite room (double glass at street side) and extremely clean! Hostal is close (5 min walk) from centre and free parking in front of hostal or in the streets surrounding. Our highest recommendation!!!
Actually, nothing ... but as described wifi is only available in reception area (and also in the 2 rooms above the reception (definitely on balcony of these rooms). Owners and staff do not speak english .. but that does not spoil the pleasure of you stay ;-)
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
